The People The ringleader and rainmaker for Iziks Interactive is owner/president Brian J. Krummel. Brian is line an interactive version of a two-headed monster, without the dripping fangs and delusions of mass slaughter. As both an accomplished web programmer/developer AND web designer extraordinaire, Brian helps clients understand a project's potential and limitations from both a programmer's and a designer's point of view. Armed with a BA in Art from Penn State with a specialty in Photography, Brian has also served the design community as a board member for the Pittsburgh Chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA). Iziks Interactive utilizes and employs a network of independent designers, developers, artists and writers to custom-fit a project team to a client's specific, defined need. This assures a glove-like team fit on a project-by-project basis, and virtually guarantees that we'll never, ever be undermanned. What's an Iziks? It's what you get when you lose the "FFFF" sound from physics. Just kidding! In truth, we followed the marketing "book" at first, seeking a short, memorable, zesty name that was either a cool 4 to 6 letter word ... or a derivative of a cool 4 to 6 letter word. But those words were all taken by auto dealers, free credit reports and sites of questionable moral content. So we threw some letters into a pot and stewed ... coming up with the jazzy name Izix. No one could possibly put those four spicy letters together, right? (and a 20-point four letter word in Scrabble no less!) Wrong! But swap in a "ks" for an "x" and viola! A new name was born!
