The Frequency News, offers a snapshot into what is happening inside and outside the corporate conglomerate. They offer an opportunity to entertain, promote, engage and market their community of properties within their company and to the public. The editorial is reflective of the business of urban radio, urban music, the artists and the business of urban entertainment.
Iziks is proud to feature this project as a flagship solution. We handled everything from design to development in this turn-key solution. The fully dynamic website runs on a Coldfusion platform and is fueled by a MSSQL database. The streaming audio is a marriage of MP3 and Flash technology.

Northway Church
North Way Christian Community Church wanted something more suited to their diverse audience. This website has a distinct personality that matches the vibe of their congregation. The large website is actually several distinct websites, rolled into one identity: Wexford, Oakland, Sewickley Valley, East End, and Worship Café. Built on an ASP.net platform, this website was designed to scale in size as the organization grows in size.
We were brought on to the project by Group 2 Design, who handled the design. We worked with the Group 2 designers to transform a 2d concept into an interactive solution. Iziks worked with the in-house North Way staff to build a seamless solution based on their existing framework.

Powercast
Kappow! When we were asked by our client if we knew 3D animation, the answer was a resounding YES!! The Powercast project gave us an opportunity to stretch our creative and interactive abilities to develop and deliver a 3D animation for the promotion of this new wireless technology.
To view a high quality file, please download the .ZIP file and be patient since it is pretty large (but worth it.) The first 30 seconds are the creative outpour of three intense weeks of hard work and sheer man power.
Iziks was hired by Actual Size Creative which provided the story board and concept for the final animation sequence. We filled in the creative gaps with keyframes, textures, and really cool 3D models. The 3D Maya sequence was the introduction to a trade show presentation and we think the final assembly is just awesome.

According to the site, "You are just five numbers away from total fun!" The Visit Kennywood site promotes the close proximity of the amusement park drawing new visitors and riders from neighboring states.
Production Masters, Inc. (PMI) hired us to complete the Flash interactivity for this project. The zipcode function calculates the distance between your home and the amusement park, translating it into miles to emphasize how close you really are to a day full of fun. Iziks completed the production of the PHP hybrid website, MySQL database, zipcode functionality, and the Flash header and footer.

My Range Resources
The high-profile, and some-what controversial, natural gas drilling in Western Pennsylvania required a marketing tool and educational outlet. They hired Big Picture Communications, one of our long-time clients, to provide a web solution. Big Picture turned to Iziks for the heavy lifting and web development.
The website is built upon a Microsoft .Net content management system called Kentico. While it was a steep learning curve to absorb the new-to-us software, Iziks did it with style and confidently added a new notch in our third-party software belt.
The prime deliverable for this website was the Flash video component. The marketing campaign weighs heavily on the personal and professional video testimonials from actual Range Resource customers. Our custom development is a deceptively simple solution to a complex problem of handling large video resources on the website. I think you'll agree that the end product justified the time and resources of our professional development team.

Group 2 Design asked Iziks to develop them a top-notch, sleek website based on their own in-house creative. We took their stellar design, chopped it up into little pieces, and then assembled them one interactive hotrod. This Coldfusion-based website is sexy and functional. Utilizing CSS and JQuery, we added some zest to the fly-out menus and scrolling ticker message. The client manages their own content via Adobe Contribute to keep the message fresh and intriguing.

Pittsburgh Cares
Pittsburgh Cares, an affiliate of the HandsOn Network and Points of Light Institute, strives to offer a flexible approach to volunteering by partnering with nonprofit agencies and offering service opportunities to people of all ages. We work to provide volunteers with a high-quality experience that fuels further action, and we envision a day when everyone is inspired and equipped to be the change they wish to see in the world.
Iziks stepped in at the last minute to help out a fellow design agency with some complicated programming. The Pittsburgh Cares website is fully integrated and generated by SalesForce, but the configuration, generation, and population of pages required a steep learning curve for a non-technical person. That's where we excel!
The finished product is clean and professional, based on the SalesForce templated design, while allowing the client to manage their own content.

MarketSpace Communications hired Iziks to crank out a set of super-functional calculators for their client, IQEye. There are six online calculators that allow the consumer to design and customize their own survellience system: IQeye Frames-per-Second Calculator, IQeye GREEN Calculator, IQeye Image Capture Calculator, IQeye Pixels-per-Foot Calculator, IQeye Lens Selector, and the IQeye Forensic Field of View Calculator.
Featuring JavaScript/CSS coding, these light-weight calculators provide the ultimate functionality in selecting the proper camera system for your business.

Pittsburgh Promise
The Pittsburgh Promise website redesign had been in progress for over a year, but it was finally brought to life this Spring. The new website is completely redesigned and reorganized, thanks to strategic partner Wolfe Design. Terri Wolfe and I worked as a virtual team to produce the new Promise representation.
While Terri handled all the visual design and restructuring, Iziks handled the programming and database development. Built in the PHP programming language, the dynamic website features a clean design and execution with a pure CSS layout and Javascript functionality sprinkled within the project.
Additionally, Iziks has helped Pittsburgh Promise with a direct email initiatives. We constructed a custom email template within Constant Contact which allows the organization to deploy their own, branded marketing campaigns.

"PromiseNet is an annual gathering of educators, city officials, community organizers, researchers, businesses and others interested in improving educational, social and economic outcomes of students, families and their cities. Promise programs do this by providing college scholarships."
The PromiseNet website is a light-weight, seven page website that contains the conference essentials: who, what, where, when, how, and why. The site is built in PHP and features an online registration form that is integrated into PayPal for the payment processing. The clean design was completed by Terri Wolfe Design and we were pleased to partner with her on this project.

Pittsburgh Literary Calendar
Pittsburgh Literary Calendar is a project of City of Asylum/Pittsburgh and its online magazine Sampsonia Way. Their common mission is to promote and support literary free expression, locally and worldwide. Pittsburgh Literary Calendar aspires to provide a comprehensive list of literary readings and events of all members of Pittsburgh's diverse literary community, whether they are independent or associated with an organization. The calendar grew from a partnership with the previous online Pittsburgh Poetry Calendar.
Iziks created this pure-CSS, dynamic calendar which is backed by a MySQL database. The website allows the literary community to form and populate this public calendar. A free login and profile manager gives the user complete control to contribute to the literary mix. A full admin panel permits moderators to manage/approve the events and venues.

GNC Total Lean
Here is a hefty challenge: 1) build an interactive calculator that combines your age, height, build, and activity levels; 2) determine the amount of calories needed daily along with your suggested BMI; and finally, 3) present a dynamic list of meal plans to tailor your health and weight loss strategy.
GNC asked Iziks to build this online tool to promote a new product line-up called GNC Total Lean. Our solution was built in Adobe Flash using ActionScript 3.0. This light-weight solution packs a big punch in functionality and overall coolness. We are mighty pleased to add this to the Iziks portfolio.

The Product Selector is a one-stop shop for reviewing and comparing the security camera line-up by IQEye. Iziks was hired by MarketSpace Communications to provide a cutting-edge solution for their demanding client.
This product display is fueled by a MySQL database and built on-the-fly with PHP and AJAX technology. The search and filtering criteria on the left allows you to narrow down your product search based on your specific needs. It is more than a simple tool for searching the database though. The "smart navigation" predicts the availability of products displayed in future searches (based on your chosen filter criteria) and you will never see a disappointing "No matches found" message. Believe me, it's a red hot solution!

From "blah" to "bold", Iziks transformed this static billboard website into something beautiful. With a minor redesign, we transformed this once bland website into a full shopping experience. The HTML-based site is hosted on a PHP/MySQL platform and features an MIVA shopping cart integration. The website now accepts online orders — allowing our client to process payments and fulfill orders quickly. A full administrative panel permits our client to maintain her own products and pricing.
